Most visitors see tigers in the same handful of well-known parks, often surrounded by a dozen vehicles. But step away from the usual circuits, and the experience changes entirely. The sightings are quieter, more personal — and sometimes, the tigers themselves look strikingly different.
That’s where I love to take my friends!. Different forests! Different moods! And tigers with faces you’ll never forget!
A Morning I’ll Never Forget
One cold, wintery morning, I found myself alone in the forest, too chilly for anyone else to be out and about — except for me and a young male Bengal tiger. I was spellbound.
He was closer than I ever imagined. I’m almost certain he saw me before I saw him!
Once he realized our eyes had met, he stood up, towering over me, radiating power and presence.
Then, as if deciding I was worthy of this rare moment, he continued his morning stroll. For the next 45 minutes, we shared the forest — silently, respectfully, together.
When he finally walked away, he cast one last glance, almost as if inviting me to follow him. I wouldn’t be surprised if he has his own Instagram profile.
